Refund policy

 

1. Booking & Payment Options

  • Deposit Option: A 20% non-refundable deposit secures your spot.

  • Full Payment Option: Pay total upfront.

  • By booking, you confirm you accept these terms.


2. Trips (Nicaragua, Maldives, Beginner Camps)

Refund & Transfer Policy (in line with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l)):

⚠️ No refunds for:

  • late arrivals / early departures

  • illness or injury

  • weather or surf conditions

  • travel disruptions

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations and medical emergencies.


3. Peniche Coaching (In-Person)

  • Improver Plans (Monthly): Cancel/reschedule up to 48h before a session. Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.

  • Pro & Elite Programs: Application-only. Monthly fee is non-refundable once the month begins. Cancel before next cycle to stop renewal.


4. Online Coaching Programs (EU Consumer Law Applies)

  • Core Program (Monthly):

    • Cancel anytime before renewal.

    • Once access to content or coaching is provided, the 14-day withdrawal right is waived.

    • Non-refundable after access begins.

  • Pro & Elite Programs:

    • Minimum 3-month commitment.

    • Once started, fees are non-refundable.

    • After 3 months, cancel anytime before renewal.

    • At checkout, clients must confirm: “I agree to immediate access and waive my 14-day withdrawal right as per EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m).”


5. Consumer Rights (Poland & EU)

  • As required by Polish law and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, clients may withdraw within 14 days for digital services only if they have not accessed the service.

  • By starting the program (logging in, receiving content, or coaching), the client agrees to lose this right.


6. Disclaimers & Insurance

  • Surf Sense is not liable for external costs (flights, visas, insurance).

  • We strongly recommend travel insurance covering surfing, medical, and trip cancellations.
